Al Jazeera English is streaming live on Livestation (A free player) with coverage of the Israeli invasion of Gaza. Admittedly Al Jazeera English looks at the Israeli incursion from an Arab perspective. Other TV channels are available on Livestation including BBC World News, Bloomberg, C-Span, Euronews, France 24, ITN, RT (Russia Today) and NASA TV. Radio stations include the BBC World Service and DW-Radio.

May Israel not get themselves into another quagmire in Gaza. Surprisingly the media here is making an effort to tell both sides of the story. But all are looking for ratings.

Why "Admittedly..."? Of course it's an Arab point of view (one of many) You say that as if that automatically made the network suspect. Funny that one never hears US and Israeli (government) sources prefaced with "admittedly"s.

That in itself says a lot about how intractable these problems are: just to pay attention to the point of view of more than one side in a conflict always provokes "admissions" like that.

29 jan: aljazeera english stopped working about two weeks ago, and is not straightforward (enough for me) to reinstall. am i paranoid?
