A report by an independent state personnel board has cleared Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin of ethics violations in the firing of her public safety commissioner last summer.
Released today, the last day of the presidential campaign as the 44-year-old mother of five hop-scotched across the country to numerous states in last-minute hectic campaigning, the report says there is no probable cause to believe Palin or any other state official violated the Alaska Executive Ethics Act in connection with the firing.

This is a kick in the teeth for the liberal media. The Democrat smear merchants failed to beat down the indomitable spirit of Palin. Sarah Palin stands vindicated the smear merchants stand condemned.

The liberal and conservative lap dog media will always find someone else to pick on. All you have to do is follow the money. The whole world, it's about the money. It's about the Golden Rule. Those who have the gold, make the rules.
Fell asleep in front of the TV just as the counting was starting, Woke up at 5am and saw that Obama had won. Started to cry tears of joy, two hours later I am still crying. This is a great day for western democracy.
Let's see what Palin does next. I think she will fade away.
And you John should back to writing Fine Gael press releases, it was much more interesting to read than all this Sarah Palin stuff, she has no mandate, never did.
Palin certainly has a mandate. She has an 80% approval rating in Alaska. In addition McCain/Palin carried the state with 63% of the vote.
She will be back in 2010 preparing for a shot at 2012.
She has been shamefully treated by elements in the media. They failed to break her.
