Obama Lipstick on a Pig Comment a Cheap Shot at Sarah Palin ?

Last week Sarah Palin joked that the only difference between a 'hockey mom' like herself and a pitbull was lipstick. Today on a campaign rally in Lebanon, VA, Barack Obama made these comments to his fans: "You can put lipstick on a pig," he said as the crowd cheered. "It's still a pig." This is a sly dig at Palin as it has been made whilst Sarah Palin's comment of last week is fresh in the public mind. There appears to be a subtle subtext here that Sarah Palin is like a pig. The crowd appears to have taken the "lipstick" line as a reference to Palin. Finally the cat is out of the bag.

There is a vicious Democrat campaign afoot-aided and abetted by supporters in the liberal media- to demonise and smear Sarah Palin. As far as Obama himself is concerned subtle hints can suffice. Barack Obama has already had to apologise to a Michigan TV reporter after he called her "sweetie" and dodged her question about autoworkers.
WXYZ-TV's Peggy Agar shouted a question to the Democratic presidential candidate during his appearance at a Chrysler LLC plant in this auto-making suburb of Detroit.
Agar asked Obama what is he "going to do to help American autoworkers." "Hold on one second, sweetie," Obama replied. "We'll do a press (availability), thanks." He did not reply to Agar's question.
Obama has problems with powerful women who get in his way. Just ask Hillary Clinton.
